Equine Assisted Learning Group facilitated by Emma Jenkinson is designed to develop self-awareness and self-acceptance, confidence, resilience, and safe boundaries. It will be modeled around equine interaction and equine-assisted-learning, and you will learn opperant conditioning as it relates to learning, and consent in horse training. This is a wonderful introduction to horses for all ages, and experience levels.
The nature of an EAL session is one that deals with the development of horsemanship and life skills. EAL sessions are focused upon helping participants achieve personal goals through learning to work with horses. Through that interaction and learning how to communicate with them we are learning skills that help improve quality of life such as trust, honesty, connection, self-regulation, and self-confidence.
Primary objectives will include:
1. Horsemanship, learned and developed on the ground.
2. Life Skills
3. Selfconfidence
4. Non-verbal human-horse communication
5. Mindfulness
6. Learn how to regulate and set boundaries. . . in a safe, positive and uplifting natural setting.
All sessions are on the ground.
This allows to accommodate anyone from any backgrounds, some of whom may have contraindications for riding.
Group is for adults and children 6+ meeting in 2 hour sessions once per week for six weeks. Maximum group size is 4. The sessions are led by Emma Jenkinson at double H stables.
$100 per 2 hour session.

Learn everything there is to know about horses, and training them while working on personal learning goals. This is all the benefits of our EAL Group in private one hour sessions.
$50 per hour class
